ZAGREB, CROATIA (August 27-30) – The metropolitan scenery of the Croatian capital Zagreb provided a perfect stage for the second event of the EU sports project Alliance of Basketball Referees (ABR).

The Experts’ meeting took place from August 27th until August 30th and featured established international amateur basketball organizations – MSV (Italy), Barcel’hona Sport Events (Spain), Tvrđava Niš (Serbia), and Crohoops (Croatia), supported by KOM 018 (Serbia).

The partners from all over Europe continued their joint effort in the exciting mission of finding practical ways of recruiting, developing, and motivating future basketball referees.

All of the partners agree that the summit held in the Trophy hall of Zagreb’s Boćarski dom was very productive, as it provided precise guidelines for the development of the Training module.

The next event on the agenda of this EU-funded project is the meeting in Niš, Serbia, which will focus on the practical implementation of the Training module.

The project is financed by the European Union (ERASMUS-SPORT-2021-SSCP).
