120 SECONDS OF HISTORY – STUART TANNER vs DEVIN HARRIS 1-ON-1
British basketball…hardly conjours up thrilling memories does it?, well maybe…just maybe that is about to change.
With the 2012 Olympics due to be held in Britain, basketball is in a transition period right now for the home nation with 2 NBA stars on the current roster in Pops Mensah-Bonsu of the Toronto Raptors & Luol Deng of the Chicago Bulls respectively.
Golden State Warriors guard Kelenna Azubuike has stated that he will play for the Great Britain team & more notably, Chicago Bulls star Ben Gordon also stating he intends to represent Great Britain, though both are yet to suit up for the team.
Gordon, fresh from an exciting playoff series vs 2008 champions Boston Celtics brings true hope for the fortunes of the nation, by the time 2012 rolls around then Ben’s big match experience could be stacked up to a height that could provide Britain with a true match winner & push great Britain into the medal zone.
