With Dirk Nowitzy scoring 29 points and Mavs’ hitting as much as 13 three-pointers Dallas managed to beat Heat 113:102 to take 3:2 series lead. LeBron James had 17 points, 10 boards and 10 assists, while Dwyane Wade chipped in 23 points for Miami Heat.
But the real story behind headlines has been Mavericks’ newly released secret weapon. According to The Wall Street Journal research Mavericks’ players have so far demonstrated much more cohesion on the court which is measured by “The Touchy-Feely Index”.
Index measures televised incidents where players made contact on the court in the first three games of NBA Finals – including high fives, hugs, chest pats and butt slaps. After game 4 Dallas Mavericks had overwhelming 250:134 lead over Miami Heat in that category.
