In the last friendly game before the upcoming 2011 European Championship Croatian Women NT managed to win favorised Czech Republic by 80:86.
Czech Republic, which won the silver medal on the 2010 World Championship, was able to beat Croatia 102:82 on Wednesday after 42:40 halftime lead.
This time around Croatia was paced by F Ana Lelas who scored 17 points. Sandra Madir added 16 points and 5 assists, while Jelena Ivezic had 8 points and 8 boards in the upset victory.
Led by Gospic CO head coach Stipe Bralic Croatian women NT managed to win 4 out of 8 friendly games. On June 18th, Croatia will face France in it’s 2011 EuroBasket premiere.
