After signing of Slovakian League MVP Anna Jurcenkova, Lupa Promotion was able to add even more experience and size. Lupa has announced the signing of ex-Gospic CO court-leader PG Maurita Reid along with two ex-Jolly JBS Sibenik players, Neda Lokas and Andrijana Vasovic.
Ex-WNBA player Maurita Reed who orchestrated Croatian champion Gospic CO play last season seems very happy with the latest career transaction: “It is always a special feeling to play for the new team. In regards to playing against my ex-team I can say that I am definitely looking forward to see the familiar faces and to face their usual high level of competitiveness.”
So far Lupa has been very active in the free-agent market which clearly indicates that club has a strong ambition to thrive and become the leading regional women basketball powerhouse.
