According to Slobodna Dalmacija Croatian NT captain PG Marko Popovic could be close to sign the deal with the Lithuanian powerhouse Zalgiris Kaunas.
Although some of the sources claimed that Popovic has already signed the deal Popovic’s agent Robert Jablan/XL Basketball Agency has declined that the deal has been signed, although all of the necessary details have been taken care of.
Sharp-shooting Popovic who has been a part of Zalgiris from 2006-2008 spent the last 3 seasons with the Russian powerhouse Unics Kazan.
