According to www.adriaticbasket.net New Orleans Hornets GM Dell Demps spent as much as three days with BC Split organization.
BC Split director Nikola Vujcic was pleasantly surprised:
“He surprised me with how much he knew about our club and about certain young players. He was interested in how Vujcic Basketball Academy is working and in different tactical and techical details.”(source: www.adriaticbasket.net)
Demps, who briefly played for Cibona Zagreb at the very end of the last millenium, also witnessed BC Split opening Adriatic League victory over Crvena Zvezda Belgrade.
NOTE: New Orleans Hornets hold #4 pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. Phenom Dario Saric, who is training with Split is currently projected to go 10th overall by DraftExpress.com.
