Today, for the first time in it’s three year long history CroHoops Outdoor Basketball League will send it’s representatives to the streetball tournament “Nocni Hakl”.
“Nocni Hakl” is a widely known croatian 3-on-3 streetball competition which is annually played in Zagreb and already has five years long tradition (2008-2012).
Competition consists of the two tournaments – “East-side” tournament (played in Dubrava, Zagreb) and “West-side” tournament (played in Spansko, Zagreb).
This year four first placed teams from the each tournament will gain the chance to battle for the reported money prize of 4000 kunas (approximately 550 euros), while playing their matches simultaneously with the friendly international basketball match between Cibona Zagreb and Anadolu Efes, which will take part on Zagreb’s main square on September 22nd, 2012.
CroHoops League will be represented by the following randomly picked selection:
G Nikola Zorica (team captain)
G/F Igor Ravlic (league MVP)
F/C Igor Gusic (COBL leading rebounder with 25.0 boards per game)
F/C Vladimir Filipovic (Kupinecki Kraljevec team captain).
One week ago in Dubrava it was “Gumi defekt” squad that won the competition (Bruno Mandić, Marko Hrabar and Tomislav Jurkovic) are active participants of Medvescak squad in COBL.
Tomorrow (17.45 CET) on Kuslanova court this relentless Medvescak core will face Folka led by Ravlic in the first semifinal encounter of COBL .
