According to the official team site of Barcelona Spanish powerhouse has reportedly reached a three-year deal with Croatian international PF/C Ante Tomic (7’2”/1987).
Tomic has been drafted by Utah Jazz with 44th pick back in 2008, who considered him their long-term overseas project but during recent years it has become more and more obvious that he has no serious intention of continuing his career in the NBA.
Interestingly enough Croatian NT head coach Jasmin Repesa has skipped to place his name on the recent list of candidates for the upcoming 2013 EuroBasket qualifying cycle.
