According to Vecernji List/Drazen Brajdic Croatian international G/F Marko Tomas is about to undergo an urgent hamstring operation in Munich. Tomas has suffered extensive hamstring injury it the 35th minute of the recent Croatian 76:78 loss to Macedonia at EuroBasket in Lithuania.
After the operation Tomas is scheduled to walk with crutches for six weeks and will rehabilitate at least for a couple of months after that. Fenerbahce Ulker swingman reportedly felt the hamstring pain while playing in the London Invitational Tournament, but made a tough decision to stay with the team and participate in EuroBasket.
