Highly motivated young Pescenica squad was able to pull another significant win, this time over the solid Maksimir team which played with only five players and was paced by Mikovic & Car. Pescenica has now moved near the very top of the standings.
Sesvete had to travel all the way from their part of the town only to find out that Bukovac will not be able to gather the starting five and the game was registered with 0:20 result in count of Sesvete. Sesvete now share the top of the standings with Centar but with one game more on their schedule.
Against undermanned Botinec, Centar was again able to pull over league record winning margin to 61 points! Their previous record was set vs Pescenica on May 15th 2011 when they have routed Pescenica with as much as 58 point margin (136:78).
Trnje and Cvjetno exchanged baskets until the very end in the highly competitive and tense game which wasn’t decided until overtime. Both teams were paced by their point guards, namely Domagoj Horvat (Trnje) and Marijan “Dado” Hlupic (Cvjetno).
Interestingly enough CroHoops League President Marjan “Muraya” Crnogaj played more then a dozen minutes for Cvjetno and was able to collect 2 assists and 2 steals, but went scoreless.
